Caribbean Premier League

The Caribbean Premier League (abbreviated to CPL or CPLT20) is an annual Twenty20 cricket tournament held in the Caribbean. It was created in 2013 and replaced the Caribbean Twenty20 as the premier Twenty20 competition in the Caribbean. It is currently sponsored by Hero MotoCorp and consequently officially named the Hero CPL. The inaugural tournament was won by the Jamaica Tallawahs who defeated the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the final.

Format

The CPL T20 tournament is played between six teams and is divided into a group stage and a knockout stage. In the group stage, the teams each play ten matches overall, three of which are at home. This unusual format occurs because all six teams are co-located at a single playing site for five sequential matches of the tourney, then the whole tournament moves to a new location for five more games (and so on). Six stadiums are used (see Venues below), each a home field for one of the teams. The playoff stage includes two semi-finals and a final to determine the winner of the tournament. All three of the elimination playoff games will be played at Queen’s Park Oval and Brian Lara Stadium .

Jamaica Tallawahs

The franchise of Jamaica Tallawahs are the representative team of Jamaica in the Caribbean Premier League of cricket. It was one of the six teams created in 2013 for the inaugural season of the tournament. The Jamaica Tallawahs play their home games at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.

The Tallawahs won inaugural tournament by defeating the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the final at Queen’s Park Oval, they also won the 2016 CPL season. They are known for their formidable home record, winning 5 out of their 6 home games in CPL History since the end of the 2014 season. They are also the only team in CPL History to play all 11 local players in match which they did in 2013 at home against the TT Red Steel where all 11 Tallawah players were Jamaican.

Hollywood actor Gerard Butler has an equity interest in the franchise.

Guyana Amazon Warriors

The Guyana Amazon Warriors is a franchise cricket team of the Caribbean Premier League based in Providence, Georgetown, Guyana. Former Guyanese cricket legend Roger Harper was confirmed as the franchise’s inaugural coach in early February 2015.

 Barbados Tridents

The Barbados Tridents are the representative franchise cricket team of Barbados in the Caribbean Premier League. It was one of the six teams created in 2013 for the inaugural season of the tournament. The Saint Kitts and Nevis franchise effectively replaces the Antigua Hawksbills franchise (based in Antigua and Barbuda), although it is intended that the Hawksbills franchise will be revived at a later date, with the CPL consequently featuring seven teams rather than six. The Hawksbills were primarily removed from the competition in order to make scheduling easier, though their poor results and lack of a private owner also contributing to their removal. Saint Kitts and Nevis nominated four previous Hawksbills players – Justin Athanaze, Carlos Brathwaite, Orlando Peters, and Devon Thomas – as their “retained players” prior to the 2015 CPL Draft. South African Eric Simons, formerly senior coach of the Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League (IPL) was confirmed as the franchise’s inaugural coach in early February 2015.

For the 2017 season, the franchise chose to rebrand under a new name and logo as the St Lucia Stars.

In August 2019, the St Lucia Stars franchise team was axed from the tournament, with the CPL looking to replace the team. They returned as St Lucia Zouks later that month.

Ab Pakistan Tehreeqe Insaf ne ye qadam uthaya or sare matches Pakistan main karwane ka qadam uthaya. Is khabar k aty hi pure mulak main aik janoon ki kafiyat wapis agai kyun k Pakistan main cricket wapis aa rahi hai. Logon ne matches se pehle hi tickets booked karwana shuru kardi or is ki teyariyan karni shuru kardi.

Lakin ab Pakistan main PSL any ki wajha se bohat bara masla bhi paish aya or wo masla hai traffic. Team protocol ki wajha se lakhon ki tadad main awam ko pareshan kiya ja raha hai. Lahore k kai main roads per ganto tak traffic jaam rehti hai jismei ambulances bhi shamil hoti hein. Jin main canal road or qalma chowk wagera shamil hain hakoomat ko chahye team k rukne ka intezam qadafi stadium k pas kiya jaye ya phr unko stadium tk lee jane k liye koi or tareeqa bnaya jaye.

PSL Anthem

Pehle teen seasons k anthem Ali Zafar ne gaye thy jo k Cricket k janoun main hit tareen gaye thy pure pakistan main jinke naam hain

2016 Ab khel k dikha

2017 Ab khel jame ga

2018 Dil se jaan laga de

or is k baad 2019 main Fawad khan ne gaya PSL Anthem jiska naam tha Khel Dewano ka

Ali Zafar & Ali Azmat

2020 main Ali Azmat, Haroon Rashid, Asim Azher, Arif Lohar in logon ne mil kar gaya lakin phir bhi bad qismati se PSL Anthem Pakistan main release hote hi flop hogya.

Flop hone ka sara ilzam Ali Azmat ne Ali Zafar par laga diya Waseem Badami k Live Show main jis main unhon ne kaha k Ali Zafar ne bloggers hier kiye or hamara song flop karwaya jis par Ali zafar ne bara qarara video reply diya unhain. or us k baad waseem badami ne live call par Ali Zafar se Bat kar k PSL Anthem ki farmaesh ki jis par unhon ne audience ki khawaish or dil chaspi ka izhar kiya or 80% Audience Ali Zafar ka song sun’na chahti thi jis k bad Ali Zafar ne Aik Din Main PSL Anthem Gaya or uski video ka zumma Pakistan k logon par dal diya. Yani World History main pehli bar kisi league ka gana release hone k bad uski beat net par lagai or logon se un k dance ki farmaesh ki gai jis main log bhar char kar participate kar rahe hain.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
